What subjects are covered? In-Person Tutoring or Online Tutoring? This is the right section to answer that!

Tutoring Subjects:

  • Math, Chemistry, and Physics

Starting in high school, I was asked to peer tutor my classmates in Math and Chemistry due to my high grades as well as my passion for teaching since then. I learned to design my own experiments for my classmates. Achieved high grades in all 3 subjects in high school.

Starting in University, I started tutoring as a career, I’ve taught these three subjects at the grade 5 level up to first year university level. I am working towards a teaching degree with my math and chemistry minors at SFU, as for physics, feel free to request to see my high school physics marks and they will be provided as proof!

  • Last week before an exam? I'm here to help

Let me know what class you’re taking, and give me 2-3 sessions. I’ll give you a crash course and simplify as much of the content as possible!

Tutoring Methods

  • Online Tutoring

Don’t want a stranger in your house? Great, there’s online tutoring now!

Online tutoring is nice and simple, and easily accessible to anyone with internet connection. Many claimed that online tutoring doesn’t give the same professional feeling, or not worth the money. Try it, I promise it’s not that bad.

The programs I use for online tutoring include Zoom, Discord, and Skype (other programs may be accepted if requested). From experience, Zoom is the best program to use. I will use my laptop that has a touchscreen function to show any work I do to decrease the amount of miscommunication between calculations.

  • In-person Tutoring (limited due to Covid restrictions)

In-person tutoring is the more traditional method of face to face tutoring. The location is quite flexible from being at a library or any other public space, to tutoring at the client’s house.

In-person tutoring offers clear face-to-face experience, getting to better know each other, and don’t have to deal with annoying technical difficulties.

Feel free to try an online session first, before committing to in-person tutoring!
