“I didn’t take calculus in high school, which meant that math in university was pretty challenging. Luckily, I got into contact with Jason, an easy going and knowledgeable tutor. From the start, our lessons helped me understand tough material in a short amount of time. We go through concepts step by step until I can tackle the questions on my own. He was a great help to my understanding of the math content. Thank you!”

Note: During our tutoring sessions, we decided that we would like to work on their understanding of word problems. Taking the time to read the question, and figuring out how that translates into an equation, and what we’re solving for in that equation we have created. Through this, their understanding of the concept and word problems both steadily increased as they worked towards preparing for the final exam.
